Default wanted to downgrade from 4.0 to 3.1.2 (3gs)
hi! i just upgraded my 3gs from 3.1.2 (jb) to 4.0. problem is, i'd like to restore it back to 3.1.2, then upgrade to 4.0 using a pwned ipsw. had a shsh file via cydia on 3.1.2 ( as confirmed by tinyumbrella) but everytime i try to restore i got an error saying "Phone says device isn' t eligible for the requested build." can anyone please help me with this? thanks in advance.

I have seen guys having trouble downgrading to 3.1.2 eventhough they have 3.1.2 shsh file , if after pointing your hosts file to cydia and it still says not eligible, I guess you are out of luck , which means you can't downgrade, it could be your shsh file is corrupted while being saved by Cydia.
