    Default 3G Downgrade
Simple question(s) for some of you iPhone pros.

    1. Did you have to request your SHSH blob to be saved by Cydia?
    2. Is it possible to downgrade 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 without it?

I don't care about an unlock and want to go to 3.1.2 for diff reasons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You don't need shsh to downgrade , but you need tools like quickpwn22 or Ireb to error out 1015 though.

I can't ever get it there. I tried for hours last night.

When I try and do the restore in iTunes with white screen, it just says, "firmware is not compatible". I never get to any error codes.

Make sure you select the correct file when restoring.

How can that be possible, 3G users do not use shsh file for downgrading, did you choose the 3.1.2 (3G)correct file :

    iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw

Put your Iphone in DFU mode when restoring, you will encounter error 1015.

Well ok, I guess I'm an idiot. I must have been super tired and downloaded the wrong ipsw. I put in DFU and restore with 3.1.2.
Just like you said, code 1015

Close the error, open up quickpwn22, see a message box, follow the 15 sec count and 2 additional count, your Iphone will boot up. Once booted up , click ok on the message box, close quickpwn ( don't use quickpwn to jailbreak )
