Default How do I get the SHSH on Cydia if iPhone is not jailbroken?
I lately read Saurik's info an the SHSH blobs again ( Caching Apple's Signature Server - Jay Freeman (saurik) ).

This point should be stressed: even if you don't jailbreak, and even if you never intend to jailbreak, you should consider using the new "on file" service.

How could you get the SHSH on file on Saurik's server unless you had installed Cydia? And can't you install Cydia only if you jailbreak your iPhone? This sounds like a Catch22 to me.

    Didn't think of that.
    Thanks!

    Edit:
Just tried Umbrella. I guess there is something I don't understand after all. Here is a quote of the umbrella read file:

    5. Select the repository (server) that holds the shsh information you want to obtain.

The signature hash is just the file I want to create. If it is supposed to be on file on Saurik's server.....see the beginning of my thread.

    2nd edit:
Found a way now without Cydia icon on iPhone/iPad:
