Default iPhone 3GS (MC model) 3.1.3 firmware
What's my best bet to jailbreak? I had it jailbroken until a couple days ago when my screen was acting weird so I had to get it replaced by Apple (I unjailbroke it before I went in).
And of course, instead of just replacing the screen, they blamed it on my firmware only being 3.1.2 (or whatever it was before 3.1.3) so they upgraded it.

So, I saw this thread: http://modmyi.com/forums/3g-s-downgr...hout-shsh.html

What do you think about it?

Should I try that, or should I just stick it out until iPad/iPhone 4.0 firmware comes out and devteam releases a new jailbreak?

    Thanks!

i think what z3r01 was saying is that if your shsh's for 3.1.2 are on file with cydia then it is up to you if you want to restore back to 3.1.2 or wait for the new jailbreak...im sure he/she wasn't trying to be rude

I think you might be in the same boat I'm in. If the phone that you received isn't the same as you sent off, you have a phone that came with 3.1.3 installed already. Cydia wont have the SHSH for that phone. You will not be able do downgrade either.
If it is your original phone but upgraded to 3.1.3 and you did press the "make my life easier" thing on Cydia, you might have a chance of downgrading to 3.1.2 and jailbreaking it.
