    Default 3.0.1 restore question
i have 2 3.0.1 3g s iphones that are jailbroken and unlocked. in case i want to restore fresh back to 3.0.1 is it possible? and how?

Unless you're one of the very, very few who have their 3.0.1 has on file with Cydia, there's no way to restore to 3.0. Most of Cydia's hashes are for 3.0, so you might be able to restore to 3.0 if yours are on file.

nope, mines aren't on file. out of luck eh?

Apple wants to force everyone to 3.1. If you are at 3.0, you cannot decide to stay at 3.0, or just upgrade to 3.01. Apple determines it for everybody to 3.1 as soon as you need to do a Restore, or reset of your data. That is the area we think Apple is unreasonable and bureaucratic !

No. And and it's unlikely there ever will be.
