  • iOS 10 Beta 1 Takes on iOS 9.3.2 in New Speed Tests

Apples first iOS 10 beta has already been put through its paces in a series of speed tests against iOS 9.3.2. Its still very much in its infancy for now, but is the new software any faster on the iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6s? Find out below!

iOS 10 is quite possibly the biggest upgrade weve seen since iOS 7 three years ago. It brings a whole host of big features like the Universal Clipboard and a revamped Messages platform, plus big improvements under the hood.

But will it make your iPhone any faster? Well, not yet.

That boot to unlock bug was interesting... I use 10b on my daily and haven't seen anything like that yet...

Not to mention my boot times have trumped over all the other firmware I've tested on so far...

And I personally haven't experienced any need to reboot, unless Facebook starts crashing. It seems to get smoother with time.

Erm, I only watched the first 2 minutes of it - because the music was terrible, and it kind of gave me the answer.

iOS 9.3.2 looked faster to me.. If that wasn't the intent, then they should have done the best in a better way.

iOS 10 was only faster with the animation to start an app, but to actually start the app, v9 looked quicker.

is this featuring network iTE or still LTE? Mobile network is up to iTE at the moment for certain devices.

What the hell is iTE? Never heard of it. Last I heard was LTE (long term evolution) in mobile networks.

Me neither. Heard of LTE Advanced and 5G but not iTE.
