  • Cydia on Apple Watch 'Work in Progress' by [email protected]'
Today on reddit a user posted images of what looks to be a running version of Cydia on an Apple Watch

The twitter user @maximehip posted the image above with "work in progress"... however we don't know the legitimacy of the image as it could easily be done by a screenshot and easily viewing it on the Apple Watch. But you never know because not long ago an Apple Watch user posted a video of Windows 98 running on an Apple Watch.

What are your thoughts? Fake or Real?

Screw the watch!!! We want our iDevices jailbroken. I swear Apple is doing these multiple updates to stop the jailbreakers from cracking the iDevices by slowing down the progress.

I tried to do my iPod touch 6th gen on 9.1 the other day and it wouldn't take it. I want my 6+ done. My 5c, 4 and iPad mini are done. I want the rest done.

I'm done and tired with this whole Apple game.. Sticking with my devices and I'm not looking to "upgrade" every single year.. tired of a little upgrade here and there... " O M G DUAL CAMERAS!!!!" ....... I mean, ****... I have much more important things to deal with in my life than trying to get my hands on yet ANOTHER "iDevice" ..... they ran their course, Apple is a fad, move on to the next... Anyone can steal their game, just make a new GUI.

I think this is the longest we have been without a JB.

Itís the longest without a jailbreak on a signed version. iOS 6 was longer between 9.1 and now, but 9.0.2 is the longest ever.

When I first jailbroke an iphone I was at 3.1.3 and had waited for 4 maybe 5 months it seemed like for a jailbreak so I could unlock my baseband and go with T-mobile... Other than that I've now been without a jailbreak since whenever watch os2 came out and it feels like forever...

Anyone know how many consecutive updates iOS has had before now? iOS 9 appears to be the most sloppy, poorly designed, bug riddled version of all time.

Just how many betas does it take until they finally get it right???

iOS 9 had a lot of firsts and unique situations. You have the iPad pro, the SE phone, new watch OS plus it went rootless. Lots of changes will bring additional updates. It's not easy getting hundreds of thousands of lines of code spread throughout thousands of files to all work together with new and old devices.

Plus it's software, it's never "right", always room for improvement. Especially when you bring in new programmers.

Idk, 9.0 was pretty bad, and 9.2 isnít great, but Iíve heard 9.3 is the most stable iOS since something like iOS 4. 8.0 might be the buggiest ever, though. 8 was miserable.

If it's stable, then they should leave well enough alone. Whatever "fixes" they want to add at this point should wait until iOS 10. The only reason I can imagine for yet another patch (other than incompetence) is legal exposure. Is this some new method for keeping the feds off of Apple's back? It's much harder to hit a constantly moving target. hahahahaha!

I agree. I heard 9.3.2 was actually worse than 9.3.1. I donít understand their addiction to new versions of iOS.

All versions of iOS 7 until 7.1 (six months after 7.0) would freeze up and respring every few days, so that has to be the worst stretch.

I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 9.0 and up... On 9.3.2 currently and have no complaints with it other than not being jailbroken.

Everyone talking about buggy iOS, I've been stock and jailbroken on every beta and public release since 3.0. I honestly have never had an issue with stock or beta, and the only issue I've ever had with bugs was when I was jailbroken on iOS 6.

Plus, to second what toyhaulerobs said, screw the watch! Give us a public jailbreak for our iDevices!
