  • Here is an Apple Watch running Windows 95

Microsoft's desktop Operating System, Windows 95 has been installed on the Apple Watch. You can watch the video below.

The developer, Nick Lee has taken the task to put the ancient old Windows 95 on a brand new Apple Watch. Circuit Breaker notes that it takes an hour to boot completely and is slow overall in performance but is functional.

Nick Lee points out, the Apple Watch is a more powerful machine than what the original computers were outfitted with back when Windows 95 was a new operating system, so it makes sense that the Apple Watch can run the software.

However there was an extra step that was necessary, due to the fact that the Apple Watch’s display wants to shut down when it isn’t in use. So Lee had to put to use a motorized tube that constantly rotates the Apple Watch’s crown.

It’s worth the watch, and you can see it below.

I know you understood what he meant to type. If you are keen on grammar or typos, why don't you start writing for MMi. I'm sure Kyle would let you do it for the same same salary Caiden gets, which is zero.

Come on man, be appreciative of him giving us news for free. He's writing like 20 articles a day for free. Mistakes are bound to happen.

"News" about some guy with way too much time and money on his hands.

Does this accomplish anything? What would anyone actually do with Windows 95 on a watch?!!

I hope he posts a BSOD. That might prove mildly entertaining.

Well, it looks really cool! I think that's the extent of its usefulness. Pretty sweet that he was able to do this, must have taken awhile.

Well apparently my comment was edited for some dumb reason. I was CLEARLY joking when I said that Caiden gets paid the big $$ for writing for MMi as he himself has said he does this pro bono…I guess that's not aloud to be posted though………? Not to mention that I was standing up for him and the fact that he does this for free.

I think it's amazing that he could even install it. Pretty cool, IMO.

I'm not sure what the original post meant but it's all good dude Don't stress over your post being edited.

Yes I don't get paid but I do enjoy writing articles and getting feedback for the articles. So if there ever is an error just address it here in the comments or in a Private Message.

I don't think he was trying to be rude, just a quick sentence letting him know that some proof-reading is needed. Honestly it's not a very long story, so a quick read through before posting isn't much.

First of. Don't spend a lot of time writing a paragraph to flame someone

All I said is you may want to re read it. And it had nothing to do with grammar or typos.

It had to do with it saying Windows 95 was installed on Windows 95.

So flame someone else and step away from this convo.

I try my best to proof read but sometimes I post whilst I'm working so it'll have to make do for the time unless I have someone who wants to proof read what I post? That's what I have you guys here for. The majority of articles I read from other sources have the same issue such as AppleInsider and even iDB.

I don't get paid to do this and it's not a big deal that I don't. I just want to make it clear that I have other commitments and that is a decent excuse. I post as much as I can for 1 editor for MMi. If that's not good enough for you then please feel free to join another website.
