  • Apple Music for Android gets music video support, family membership option
On Thursday, Apple pushed an update to Android devices for their own application Apple Music which brings version 0.9.8, which now supports music video playback and a brand new billing option for families.

The application, Apple Music, now allows users of Android to access thousands of music videos which is hosted on Apple's servers. Majority of the music videos are exclusive to Apple Music.

The android app shows a "New" section which users can search for music videos via the search function within Apple Music, similar to the iOS version of Apple Music.

Another benefit which came to Apple Music for Android was that you can now sign up or upgrade to an Apple Music Family Membership plan in-app which allows up to 6 people and is only $14.99 USD per month compared to $9.99 per month for a single user.

Apple Music for Android version is a free 32MB download from the Google Play store.

The app however requires Android version 4.3 to run.
