  • Apple Music now has 13 million paying subscribers
Today, Apple Inc has confirmed that the music streaming service, Apple Music, is growing rapidly, adding new subscribers by the millions. It has grown 2 million since February of 2016.

The news was found by the quarterly earnings report which was first reported that revenue declined since 2003.

In February of 2016, Apple Music had 11 million subscribers and within the last two months March and April has gained another 2 million subscribers, in which makes Apple Music's subscription based at 13 million paying subscribers.

It's competition, Spotify, however has about 30 million subscribers.

Apple has been heavily promoting its Apple Music service, using both exclusive music deals and celebrity advertising to attract people away from competitors like Spotify. Apple is thought to be working to expand these exclusive deals to TV show and movies in a move thatíll benefit both Apple Music and the companyís overall Internet Serviceís business.
