  • Apple's Charity Auction for lunch with CEO Tim Cook already hits $110K
Apple CEO Tim Cook has launched an auction which is a meet and greet private lunch at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino with the money going towards Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights.

The details of the auction to meet Apple's CEO Tim Cook don't specify any dates, which means whoever wins the auction may attend the WWDC Event in June of 2016.

It could take up to one year depending on when Tim Cook is available. The prize is valued at $100,000, the current highest bid is already at $110,000 and climbing with nine days left in the charity auction; bidding started late last week.

Cook has raised funds for the RFK human rights campaign through Charitybuzz in previous years too: $200,000 in 2015, $330,001 in 2014, and $610,000 in 2013. Apple execs including Eddy Cue and others have similarly participated in fundraising campaigns over the years.

The auction runs through next Thursday, May 5th, 2016, at just after 3:30 pm ET.
