  • Logitech have aquired a $50M Jaybird deal

    On Tuesday, Logitech has announced that there is an agreement to purchase earbud maker Jaybird which is known for wireless headphone designs. The deal that was announced is reportedly worth $50 million.



    Logitech have stated on their website. Logitech mentioned there that Jaybirds "will help build out its current product lineup to address customers who prefer headphones over speakers."

    "As one team, we can address the fast-growing wireless audio wearables market with all the advantages of Jaybird's strong brand and sports expertise, and our combined audio engineering and design capabilities,"
    said Logitech President and CEO Bracken Darrell.

    Jaybird has been a leader in Bluetooth earbuds for over 6 years, a recent production was the 'X2 wireless model' designed for active users. Jaybirrd also sells a fitness tracker which you can wear also, or an "advanced active recovery band," called Reign.
