  • [HOW TO] Clean up your iOS Device

iCleaner (Pro) is now is now available for Jailbroken iOS 9 devices that comes with latest features to help you avoid unnecessary items or features. You will be able to use this latest version for iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S plus or even below. It is one of the best system cleaners that works great on iPhone, iPad and so on! This app will help you remove unnecessary files from the device and that is why it is a must have tweak.

Yes, the tweak is an old one but it's very useful to clean up some data that is unnecessary.

    What the app cleans

If you have no idea about the features of iCleaner, then read through to know about the best features of iCleaner Pro. iCleaner Pro expels unnecessary documents from your gadget. The cleanup procedure is made of the accompanying steps:

Message connections: It erases files and documents sent or received by iMessage or even MMS. ďSMARTĒ setting just erases documents that donít appear in any message, while ďonĒ erases all documents that comes with the messages. All the attachments will show a blank icon.

Safari: it erases cookies, searching history and store documents to free up memory and safeguard your security.

Applications: It erases unnecessary Appstore applications cookies, impermanent documents and depictions. Besides, it catches prominent applications for an all the more top to bottom cleanup.
More applications are included with every consequent discharge. Client Login information, helpful cookies as well as other applicable records are left untouched. iCleaner Pro just evacuates the unnecessary.

Cydia: It cleans up Cydia files, temporary files, Cydia applications unnecessary documents, downloaded Cydia apps and repo documents.

    Cydia sources:
It erases Cydia sources records. Helpful if Cydia sources arenít upgrading accurately.

Unused Conditions: Issues the ďapt-get autoremoveĒ command to remove Cydia packages installed that are not needed. Additionally, it also removes preference files and documents left by uninstalled packages.

    Log Records:
It erases log documents and accident reports from known areas. These records are by and large unimportant to the client and can be securely erased.

    Store Documents:
It checks and erases framework reserve records and databases. Some of them are remade after respiring. This helps uprooting old reserve information.

Impermanent Records: It erases transitory documents from your gadget. These documents are intended to be evacuated naturally, yet they frequently happen not to. iCleaner Pro deals with that.

iCleaner was the first real iOS system cleaner. But it does much more than just that
iCleaner lets you strip down iOS and your installed apps by deleting unnecessary images and language files, definiction dictionaries, wallpapers and much, much more.

Many users were able to claim back entire gigabytes of space!

If you need to solve any of these issues and if you need to remove unnecessary files from your iDevice, then you can easily install this tweak on your iOS.

This application looks good but I suggest you not to install it. Once I installed on ipad to clean up things... They included an option to remove iPhone images or something like that. I clicked "clean" booooom. It saved lot of memory but later only I realized I couldn't open any iPhone only apps or I couldn't even install any iPhone only apps. The only solution was to upgrade and lose the jailbreak.

Since then I just stayed away from this app

Itís a great app... But you have to know what each setting is before you use it. Some things just should not be cleaned unless you really know what youíre doing.

Agreed. Leave the items default ticked if you have no clue what you're doing.

Hi. I used this a couple of months ago, and selected only what I was sure I wanted cleaned. It reclaimed 2gb on my i6. The only downside was that in my previous whatsapp group chats, it lost some names and replaced them with phone numbers. I realized these were people who I deleted or never had in my contacts. I added them and all was good. As others said, don't tick everything and you will be fine. Love this app.
Thanks Caiden for the detailed description.

WOW learn how to use an app before you advise not to use it.

Did you read the instructions at all or just clicked buttons?

In the instructions it tells you to BE CAREFUL. I have used this since IOS 6 without issues caused by the app.

Its a great app if you know how to use it correctly.

      Cheers

Same thing happened to me. Although it's a great tool, it would be even better if there was a warning on the setting that causes iPhone apps to no longer work on the iPad. I was pretty conservative with my settings so I don't know why everyone is jumping on you saying it's all your fault. I appreciate you sharing your experience as its a helpful comment. As for the other comments on here...

There are two versions of the app. iCleaner and iCleaner pro. The pro version states all over the description that it is for advanced users only and to only use it if you know exactly what youíre doing. If you use the pro version and screw things up, I would say it is your fault for not heeding the warnings. If this happened with normal iCleaner thatís something else, but anytime I ever hear of iCleaner messing up someoneís iPhone, itís always because they got the pro version and didnít look up what something would do before running the tool.

How do you think people "look up what something would do" if they don't find posts like mine online to warn them? Why are you trying to suppress the free exchange of information? I didn't say it wasn't a usful tool, but I am adding some information about it. I wasn't looking to blame, I was looking to improve. Drain cleaner has a warning on it - you think it's better not to? Well, that's your opinion. My bottle of super glue says it can bond skin. I appreciate the warning so I don't have to learn the hard way. I guess you would prefer that it just says "Pro" on the box and "don't use it unless you know what you're doing". When you become President you can do that.

And why do you assume I don't know what I'm doing? Do you think a professional race car driver that crashes in a race "doesn't know what he's doing"? Do you think a Pro ball player that makes an error "doesn't know what they're doing"? Keep your childish urge to blame to yourself and try being helpful instead. If you're so qualified to use the "Pro" product why don't you tell us all how to fix the issue where the iPad no longer runs iPhone apps. That at least would be a useful comment.

Both the website and the app itself have always been very clear in what exactly can and will go wrong. My experience with the app shows that there are warnings everywhere. While I haven't used the app in some time, I felt like the warnings were close to being too much. Not only is that the case, but every time his website mentions the pro version, he links to the instruction manual to give details on exactly what each tool does. You have to go out of your way to download a pro version of the tool, which has warnings just about every 5 words and an extremely detailed instruction manual. What more do you want?

And why do you assume I don't know what I'm doing? Do you think a professional race car driver that crashes in a race "doesn't know what he's doing"? Every possible change in iCleaner which can mess up your device has a test mode. Should you run it in test mode, you can hit undo and completely restore the changes you made. Virtually every possible thing in the app can be undone. In fact, that's one of the main reasons the pro version was created. To quote the website:

Basically, it has lead to some major issues: ...
Some users even restored their devices, without being aware that the changes they made were entirely reversible.
      Link to above

So in order to address your comment about saying how to fix it, maybe use the undo button provided with the app.

Hey, that was actually useful info at the end of your post. Thanks! The problem with my situation though is that I didn't notice that iPhone apps no longer worked until weeks after having deleted the tool. That's a rather unexpected bug as everything else still was working smoothly - so I didn't think to test if iPhone apps still worked. I also didn't think to check if apps that started with the letter "B" still worked, but hey you never know with this tool

Glad to hear it! I donít mean to be snarky or anything like that, but I see so many people condemn apps/devs for messing things up when they didnít properly follow instructions. Gets frustrating. Hope you didnít take anything personally
