  • Apple Gifting Apple Music Subscriptions to Retail Workforce

Apple is offering a special little digital stocking-stuffer of sorts to its retail workforce. That's according to the head hancho of iTunes, Eddy Cue. According to published reports Monday, Cue broke the news to retail employees in a video message today.

Based on what we're hearing, retail workers will get Apple Music free of charge for the next nine months -- a great gift and a good way for the company to turn its retail workforce into experienced Apple Music lovers.

Just one week ago, Apple gifted employees with urBeats earphones (from the Beats array of products). Today's gift was the perfect complement to that hardware.

Our friends at MacRumors, who broke the story, say that the value of an Apple Music subscription and the headphones gift constitute the most "generous" holiday offering Apple has served up to its retail workforce to date.
