  • Apple Watch a Hot Gift to Give Among Apple Watch Owners

Giving is better than receiving, so it's been said. And for those who have already received an Apple Watch, the time has come to give one back.

According to the latest industry data reported Tuesday by Reuters, Apple Watch owners will be very fond of giving the Apple smartwatch as a gift to friends and family this holiday season.

Approximately two-thirds of Apple Watch owners in the U.S. may gift an Apple Watch this year. That info comes from a Reuters/Ipsos poll published this morning.

"The poll found that about 7 percent of U.S. adults plan to give the Watch as a gift this holiday season, including current owners," Reuters reports. "That could translate to sales of up to 16 million watches over the holidays, based on 2014 U.S. Census projections and excluding younger teens."

As of this writing, Apple is yet to confirm how many Apple Watch units have been sold domestically or globally since the device launched last spring.

No gifting from me. And I told my wife I did not want one. I'd rather save that money for a future iPad upgrade. My iPad 4 is still rockin' it. Hope it will be good for another year or so.

      Wrong.
At the very least the person I gave it to did listen to me.

The fact that 3 people reply on this thread and 2 out of 3 replied negatively about Apple Watch shows it as not a popular product.
