  • Beats Music Giving Deadline of January 19th to Transfer All Playlists to Apple Music

Beats Music users were recently notified by Apple via email that they have until January 19th of next year to transfer over all song picks, playlists, and preferences to Apple Music. After the 19th of next month, all data will be wiped and lost. It was announced last month that Beats Music will be shut down but the company decided to give some time to subscribers to move all data over. When the Cupertino-based company first announcing the shutting down of Beats Music, no specific date was given. It appears now, that date is the 19th of next month.

Also provided in the email is a link to activate a three-month trial of Apple Music. As you can see, the company is trying hard to push for their music streaming service. When you visit the Beats Music website, the same offer is advertised there. Currently, Apple’s streaming music service is doing pretty well as CEO Tim Cook revealed that there are 6.5 million paid subscribers and another 8 million testing the service out back in October. If you ask us, we think the company is doing good for such a new service. What are your thoughts? Share with us in the section below.
