  • Google Updates Google Calendar App With Support for Reminders, 3D Touch, & More

Google on Monday released an update for its Google Calendar application on the iOS and Android platforms, bringing the application up to version 1.2.0 for iOS users.

With today's update, iOS users can integrate their iOS Reminders into Google Calendar's to-do list, similarly to how Fantastical allows iOS users to integrate Reminders into their Calendars, which makes it easier to get everything done in one place without all the separated applications on their device.

Google Calendar also gets support for 3D Touch for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users, but will also work on jailbroken devices with a jailbreak tweak like Forcy, allowing you to access quick actions from the Home Screen. Among the quick actions that you have available are creating calendar events and reminders.

Also added in is support for Google's promotional 'Awaken the Force Within You' event, allowing you to choose the dark side or the light side and skin your Google application experience with Star Wars themes for your entertainment.

If you're interested in giving Google Calendar a try, you can download the application for free from this App Store link. If you're already a user and want the latest version, you can head over to the Updates tab in your App Store application.
