  • Apple Store Logos Around the World Turn Red For World AIDS Day 2015

Apple has changed their Apple logo at retail locations from white to red for the fourth consecutive year, supporting and promoting apps for World AIDS Day. New York’s flagship 5th Avenue store and other stores in Japan, Australia, Germany, and Belgium have all done the same to their logos. The Cupertino based company partnered with popular developer Supercell this year.

This year, the company has been relatively low-key when it comes to promoting World AIDS Day. Last year, Apple launched 25 different apps for two weeks with all proceeds going to RED’s Global Fund. When visiting Apple’s website, you will see that they are promoting only a handful of (RED) products including a red Apple Watch strap, a red iPod nano, red iPhone case, and a few other products.

It was noted on Apple’s website that over $320 million has been raised for the Global Fund so far and the company alone raised over $100 million. Have you noticed the red logo at your local Apple Store yet? Share with us in the comment section below.
