  • Get $200 Per Line From T-Mobile When Switching Over From Sprint This Holiday Season

U.S. mobile carrier T-Mobile recently announced that for the holiday season, they will be paying $200 per line for all those switching over from Sprint, which does not require any trade-ins. Customers on Sprint can qualify for this offer if they switch their number over to a T-Mobile Simple choice postpaid plan. The $200 will appear as a credit on the bill and includes business accounts as well.

Customers on prepaid and postpaid carriers Virgin Mobile and Boost are also applicable for the offer. According to T-Mobile CEO, John Legere,

I cannot think of any wireless customers in more desperate need of some holiday cheer than those Sprint customers still hanging on over there. Those poor people have put up with the nation's slowest and smallest LTE network, and their carrier throwing out a deal-of-the-month for everyone except them. We know Sprint's customers love T-Mobile when they switch, so this holiday season, we're taking away every barrier and cost to coming over to the Un-carrier and America's fastest 4G LTE network.
This is an addition of T-Mobile’s Carrier Freedom plan, which gives customers up to $650 per line to help with early termination fees from other carriers and balances owed on a plan from Sprint. On the Freedom promotion, customers have to trade in a device when switching to T-Mobile, which is a big difference compared to the new promotion.

T-Mobile is definitely promoting aggressively in having users switch over from other carriers. In the next few weeks alone, the carrier announced that there will be ‘additional gifts’ for those switching over from AT&T and Verizon. Do you think T-Mobile is going way overboard, or do you think he’s doing the right thing? Share your thoughts with us in the section below.
