As a result, developers are urged to get their applications and updates pushed out ahead of time so that everyone has what they need beforehand. This means pushing any important bug fixes or new features that developers don't want their users to have to wait on as soon as possible.

Apple continues by saying that revenue from the App Store has increased 25% over the course of the last year, and that the number of customers buying applications from the App Store has increased by 18%. The App Store now has more than 100 billion cumulative downloads from users that have wanted to use third-party applications on their iOS devices.
