  • Microsoft's Redesigned Bing App for iOS Puts the Information You Really Want First

Microsoft has released a completely redesigned Bing application for the iOS platform on Wednesday, bringing the application up to version 6.0 in the iOS App Store and giving it a much-needed makeover with intuitive new features aimed at giving the user the information they want to see, front and center.

A new homepage is the first thing you're going to see when you open Bing for iOS, which shows you all of the nearby attractions that you may enjoy, including movies, deals, and more. In addition, when you search for something, Bing will try its best to give you a clear answer rather than just providing you with links that you have to click on to research the matter yourself. Obviously, this is limited to simpler questions.

Bing also works offline, allowing you to view cached content. All of your favorites and bookmarks will remain after today's update despite the fact that it feels like a completely different application. Microsoft's main goal with this update is to put more information in your hands at a glance and to make it easier to uncover information when you need it the most.

Those interested in picking up the new Bing application for iOS can head over to this App Store link to download it for free. Those who already have it installed and want to update can head over to their Updates tab in the App Store application to download it.
