  • Apple Seeds iOS 9.2 Beta 4 to Developers for Testing

Apple has seeded a fourth iOS 9.2 beta to developers for testing on Wednesday one day following the fourth developer and public beta seed of OS X 10.11.2. This new seed comes a little over a week after the last iOS 9.2 beta was seeded to developers.

Coming in at about 1.5GB, the new beta includes some new features, including ways to re-load Web pages in mobile safari without content blocker intervention, improved support for third-party extensions throughout Mobile Safari, Siri support for the Arabic language, and support for AT&T's NumberSync feature, which essentially allows you to keep your same phone number tied to each of your devices that you use.

iOS 9.2 is beginning to reach those middle-to-end beta stages were we can expect a public release any time within the next month or two. With the iPad Pro having been launched already, iOS 9.2 may even include some improvements for the new device which have yet to be uncovered.

If you're a developer and want to update to the new beta seed, it's available via Apple's developer Web site, or Over the Air (OTA) in the Settings application under General > Software Update.
