  • Apple Launches Space Black Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Kit for Apple Watch

Apple has on Wednesday alongside a new charging dock for the Apple Watch, launched a new space black-colored stainless steel link bracelet kit for the Apple Watch.

The kit, which is available on Apple's Web site right now for $49, allows those with the space black stainless steel link bracelet to extend the length of their bracelet, which is useful for those with larger wrists that can't fit into the OEM size. Apple's link bracelets are the only apple Watch bracelets that are fully re-buildable and allow the consumer to add or remove from the existing wrist size by adding or removing links.

Since the Apple Watch normally comes with a 205mm wrist band, these six additional links give the user up to 40mm more, which gives a total of 245mm. The kit is only available for the 42mm sized Apple Watch, and not the 38mm sized Apple Watch, as apple assumes those with larger wrists are going to only purchase the 42mm Apple Watch.

Maybe I should sell my extra links, Hahahaha... My wrists are pretty small I guess, I have either 4 or 5 links leftover...

I'm always shocked how much these are. I can buy links for my Tag Heuer cheaper than I can for my apple watch. Seriously Apple, they need to be cheaper. And while you're at it make the watch work with open source Qi chargers. Yes your kit is awesome but **** me we pay for it.
