  • Apple Gives PDF Expert 5 the iOS App Store's App of the Week Spotlight

This Thursday, Apple has chosen a new App of the Week for the iOS App Store, replacing last week's pick of Rayman Fiesta Run. This week's pick is one less exciting, but normally pretty expensive PDF Expert 5, an application used for editing or annotating PDF files on the go with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.

Normally $9.99, this application can be had for free throughout the next week only. PDF Expert 5 isn't a very highly-rated application, so it's somewhat questionable why Apple selected it as the App of the Week, although Apple is likely trying to give it a Spotlight following the added support for the iPad Pro, which went on pre-order yesterday.

The application includes a lot more than just annotating, but also a fast and easy way to fill out PDF forms, a fully-featured file manager for managing your PDF files and sharing them, and ways to import PDFs from your e-mails.

If you want to grab the application while it's free, you can do so from this App Store link.
