  • Apple Seeds Third iOS 9.2 Beta to Developers and Public Beta Program Participants

On Tuesday, Apple has seeded a third beta of iOS 9.2 to developers and Public Beta Program participants. The new beta comes 6 days after the second iOS 9.2 beta was seeded to Public Beta Program participants.

iOS 9.2 is known to have some improvements for Mobile Safari, but nothing major has been spotted yet. Some of those improvements include the ability to hold down on the refresh button to reveal an option to re-load a Web page without content blockers, as well as improved support for third-party extensions throughout Mobile Safari.

Since the update is available for both developers and Public Beta Program participants, those in either case can head over to the Settings application and go to General > Software Update to download and install the update OTA (Over the Air). The update is also available to developers online via Apple's developer Web page.

For me, it stopped support for AT&T NumberSync that was introduced in Beta 2. I had issues with it preventing SMS messages from going through if activated, so maybe there were multiple bugs that required it to be rolled back.

Rolled back to zero is a bit disappointing though :-(

The second beta I had major issues keeping my wireless headphones connected. Loses connection when you change the song. Frustrating
