  • Preorder of iPad Pro Begins at Sam's Club and Completely Sells Out By 2PM

Preorder of Appleís upcoming iPad Pro began at popular warehouse chain Samís Club today on the companyís website. Those fortunate enough to catch the screen when the devices were still in stock, shouldíve seen that it had a release date of next Friday, November 13th. Samís Club sent out e-mails this morning to its members advertising the new tablet.

By 2pm today however, the iPad Pro was sold out in all colors and memory size. The company was taking pre-orders for the 32GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray. The 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular version was not being pre-sold by Samís Club. Apple is selling the devices at $799 and $949 for the 32GB and 128GB, respectively, but Samís Club is selling it with a bit of a discount at $787 and $937.

There were a few previous rumors that circulated the Internet claiming that Appleís largest tablet would launch Wednesday, November 11th, but the new launch date isnít too far off with it being just two days later. Apple has yet to begin their iPad Pro preorder and they have yet to announce when they would begin to or if there will even be one. The Cupertino-based company may just launch the tablet the day of and call it a day.

Will you be purchasing the new tablet and why do you think it sold out so quickly? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.

I had read similar news when the 5C had been introduced. Wait for the quarterly reports and we'll know exactly how pathetic the Pro is. Apple could have done a lot more with this but they totally screwed this release. MS has offered a much better hardware in the Surface Pro... if only the iPad had OSX running on it... *sigh*

Sam's club must've have a "huge" inventory of 100 iPad Pro's that got sold out... hence the news.

Apple can do no wrong at the moment. Something tells me it’ll sell well enough.

Im sure they'll do just fine, and it's not like they dont have the money to "recover" from this so called disaster that you guys speak of. If they dont sell 10 million of anything it's a waste it seems like. I love my iPad mini but i still think the iPad pro is just an really big iPad. I still dont see how they compare in category.
