  • Is Apple Behind Faraday Future?

The rumor mill never rests -- not even on a Friday.

There's a much-talked about but still mysterious little car company on the tech news radar today. And the brand keeps finding itself in the headlines along with Apple.

Why? Apple may be more involved with Faraday Future than most folks realize. Since no one knows for sure who is running it, a lot of people are now assuming it could be Apple.

News.com.au is reporting that this enigmatic electric car company "is building a billion-dollar manufacturing plant and poaching the best minds in the auto world."

The goal? Presumably, to take on Tesla in the electric and possibly even autonomous car driving business.

"It currently has over 400 employees working for it, but company bosses claim to be hiring around 10 new staff members per week in various fields with the aim of having 500 by the end of the year," the report adds. "But for now, its staff boasts a who’s-who of electric car engineers and designers."

So is Apple behind this company? That's what everyone wants to know... but can't seem to find out for sure.
