  • Best iOS 9 Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week - November 1st Edition

This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most worthy of recognition out of what we have been able to show you this week. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9.0-9.0.2, which is available for Windows. Check them out!

    1. Auris $1.99

First on our list this week is Auris, which is a jailbreak tweak that instantly gives you an application-selection interface to choose what application you want to use to listen to music or watch videos the moment you plug in a pair of headphones or speakers into your 3.5mm headphone jack. The applications are configurable, so you can pick your favorite music and video applications to appear in the interface yourself. Then, when you plug in your headphones or speakers, you can pick the one you want to use instantly and start listening. Convenient eh? You can read our full review of Auris at this link.

    2. Tactful FREE

When looking through what was released this week, it was hard not to mention Tactful, which is a tweak that drastically improves Cydia's compatibility with 3D Touch. With this tweak, you can easily perform quick actions for Cydia on the Home Screen, as well as 3D Touch on packages in Cydia to quickly see a preview of what they're capable of, just like you can see previews of e-mails before you open them. You can read our full review of Tactful at this link, so be sure to check this one out!

    3. Tether 99

For those of you that create alarms, calendar events, or reminders frequently, Tether is a beautiful new way to do that from the Home Screen with 3D Touch. What you get with Tether is a new drag-based interface that lets you select the time you want to use, and then you can choose what the time will be used for, whether it's an alarm, calendar event, or even a reminder. You can read our full review of Tether at this link.

    4. Pegasus $2.99

Since Apple decided to limit Picture-in-Picture to specific devices, a new jailbreak tweak called Pegasus can be used to enable it on all iOS 9 devices. The tweak works in various applications that support video, but it's worth noting that only applications that support Picture-in-Picture will work with this tweak. You can read our full review of Pegasus at this link.

    5. Unicode Faces FREE

Unicode Faces is a cool new free jailbreak tweak that lets you input unicode-based faces and expressions from your iOS keyboard. To use it, just tap and hold on the space bar on your keyboard, and you'll be granted a new stockpile of expressions that some Emojis just can't match. You can read our full review of Unicode Faces at this link.

    6. Popcorn 99

Last on our list this week, but not the least, is Popcorn, which is a tweak that lets you use applications from the Home Screen by using the 3D Touch gesture on the application icon you want to use. It's a cool concept that lets you access an application without actually running it. You can read our full review of Popcorn at this link.

I'm still confused on "tether" The name made me think it had something to do with wifi. I still do not know why I would want this app?

While waiting for the Mac version of Pangu, I missed the signing window for iOS 9.0.2. So my iPhone 6 Plus is still running 8.4 :/ I'm thinking I may just upgrade to 9.1 and live without jB but haven't made that decision yet.

In the meantime I see these new posts/tweaks for iOS 9 with no mentioning of iOS 8.. So I'm wondering if any of these tweaks are compatible with iOS 8? Also if you could include that information with your posts? I would greatly appreciate it as I will probably be on iOS 8 for a while. Thanks!

I would say 99% of tweaks updated to work with IOS9 are compatible with IOS 8. Any specific tweak, you have in mind?

Some are, and some are not. If you click on the review links we include to the individual tweaks in this post, you'll usually see in the bottom of the post "Requirements: xxxxxxx"

So you should head over to our full reviews if you want more information, because this is just a recap.

Also, we only post iOS 8 compatibility if the iOS developer specifically notes it. I'm not on iOS 8 anymore on any of my devices, and so I don't have any means to test it. We recommended everyone jumped to the iOS 9 jailbreak when it was available, so we're moving our efforts to iOS 9 users because that's where the majority stands.

I'm tired of buying tweaks, most of these developers a crooks like Apple. New jailbreak comes out and they're working on new tweaks for our bucks, instead of upgrading the ones we already paid for. They wonder why I stick to pirating than actually supporting their attitude.

Then you obviously aren't a programmer. It takes people's time and efforts to develop tweaks especially when a new iOS is out and tweaks have to be rewritten. Some completely and some partially. You pay 800+ for a phone but don't want to compensate a developer for creating a tweak that you want to put on your phone. Now who is the greedy one? A couple of bucks is really going to break your wallet so the developers shouldn't get any money for it? You are not only ridiculous but by pirating you are now a thief as well. Glad you sleep fine knowing that you steal the hard work from the people that make your life easier/better. Have a pleasant day.

Blows my mind that you can brag about being a thief. Says a lot.

"The Ambassador" I feel like putting a she bag in her place, for calling me out on some dumb sh*t. Do you even know what the term jailbreak means or what it even stands for. Well let me get to the point, It means breaking out of "Apples" bondage. Apple set their law on not to jailbreak, and we still do so. So what does that makes us... Illegal or not right is right and your wrong.

Jail breaking my friend is legal. Pirating is illegal. You have no case but your stupidity

Stupidity is not getting my money's worth lol. Hey buddy why don't you say jailbreaking was illegal once upon a time in Lala land and shut the F... Up. Ain't trying to hear your garbage right now, Jailbreak 4 Life.

So I then assume you pirate apps as well. If someone is doing you a service then why not pay them for it? This isn't a debate about jailbreaking vs not. It's about you stealing the efforts of another programmer like myself whom likes to get paid for our efforts. If you can't understand that then all you are is a thief and a lowlife. If you built a house for someone would you not expect to get paid for it? If they found out a way to circumvent paying you for your time and materials how pissed would you be? Again we are not talking hundreds of thousands but 99 cents to 4 bucks and if you can't afford that then you should not be complaining. You need to find a better paying job.

I can wrote you one but it will probably be pirated from the other losers who jailbreak looking for free stuff because they can't afford to pay $.99 for the efforts of a programmer because they can't do it themselves. Not talking about you but the other morons who don't see the benefit in paying someone for their work.

How many jailbreaking tweaks have you written? I can guess with pretty good certainty it is 0 because you would want to get paid for your work like everyone else in the world. I understand people writing free tweaks but the good ones cost some money. Pony bitmap and stop stealing. I'm sure you have an excuse for doing that but it doesn't make it right
