  • Apple TV Preorder Begins at Best Buy for Nov. 4th Release

Popular U.S. electronics retail chain Best Buy started taking preorders for Apple’s new 4th generation Apple TV today with a release date of Wednesday, November 4th. Best Buy is carrying both the 32GB and 64GB Apple TV, so consumers will be able to choose which size they want. The smaller 32GB device will cost consumers $149.99 and the larger one is priced at $199.99. It is noted that those who wish to pick up the device in-store can do so on November 4th as well.

The Cupertino-based company originally said that the Apple TV would become available sometime this month, but it was delayed for launch next month instead. Apple started accepting online orders for the set-top box a few days ago and it has been reported that customers are seeing a status change of ‘Preparing for Shipment’ already. Those who chose one-day shipping will be receiving it on October 30th.

There are currently approximately 1,050 Best Buy stores in the U.S. with around 200 in Canada and some in Mexico. Will you be ordering the new Apple TV or have you already? Share with us in the comment section below.
