  • Apple Reports Record Q4 Results

Apple dazzled Wall Street on Tuesday, reporting record fourth quarter earnings.

Aided in no small way by significant iPhone growth in China, Apple's fiscal 2015 fourth quarter (which ended September 26, 2015) saw the company post quarterly revenue of $51.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.1 billion, or $1.96 per diluted share (vs $1.88 expected).

These results compare to revenue of $42.1 billion and net profit of $8.5 billion, or $1.42 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter, Apple says.

All told, Apple sold 48 million iPhones in the quarter and 9.88 million iPads. Apple also touted all-time records for Mac sales and revenue from service, but did not disclose how many Apple Watch units have shipped.

“Fiscal 2015 was Apple’s most successful year ever, with revenue growing 28% to nearly $234 billion. This continued success is the result of our commitment to making the best, most innovative products on earth, and it’s a testament to the tremendous execution by our teams,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, in a Tuesday afternoon press release. “We are heading into the holidays with our strongest product lineup yet, including iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, Apple Watch with an expanded lineup of cases and bands, the new iPad Pro and the all-new Apple TV which begins shipping this week.”

I'm really tired of them dodging the Apple Watch sales!!! At this point everyone already assumes they must be HORRIBLE...so you might as well fess up!!! Sh1t that p1sses me off! It's very "shady" from a company I trust to make good products and make good decisions about their daily operations. This blatant avoidance is fueling a rather large fire that I'm sure is growing in many other, not just me.

I do own some apple stock...lol its a joke with...only 96 shares =) Still Though!

Why are you tired? I'm sure the numbers are not astronomical like iPhone sales, but they are definitely exponentially above all other smartwatch sales numbers.

How would you know that they are "exponentially" better if they haven't released the sales numbers of the Apple Watch...EVER. I hope and assume they're are exponentially better as well, BUT, with them failing to release the numbers over the last 2 QTRs is suspicious. Since when does Apple NOT brag about about how AWESOME they've done? We haven't heard any official numbers about the apple watch since its release. Just assumptions from WS Analyst's...

Anyone who thinks/thought Apple would sell Apple Watches in the same figures as iPhones is/was delusional. Apple Watch has sold more in it's 1st year than the competition has in 3 years. Samsung "only" sold about 600K watches, while Apple is estimated to have sold 3.6M watches. Is that not exponential better?

I think you're loosing the focus of my original post. I was simply stating that I was getting tired of them not releasing the sales statistics of the Apple Watch. And my original post still stands. While I appreciate you providing me a link to read yet another site "estimate" how many units they think were sold, it still doesn't show me the factual numbers.

We have already received the actual sales numbers for the iPhone 6s and 6s+ in one QTR, while the Apple Watch is on QTR 3.

As a side note, NO the "estimated" Apple 3.6 million is NOT exponentially better, than the "factual" 600k Samsung. As 600,000 squared is 360,000,000,000. Jussss sayin. Unless you were being a smart-aleck and were thinking about exponents in fraction form, and for that I'm to tired to think about.

Time for me to hit the bed man, enjoy the rest of your evening. If you do hear/see FACTUAL sales statistics, I'd like to see THAT website or link. Otherwise, us continuing this conversation is moot as the numbers just haven't been release. And neither of us can speak to them. Thanks for the convo either way.

For sure, get some sleep. No need to get tired over this stuff.
