  • Apple Seeds a Fourth OS X 10.11.1 Beta to Developers & Public Beta Participants

On Wednesday, Apple has seeded a fourth beta of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to developers and public beta program participants for testing.

The fourth beta comes about a week after the previous beta, suggesting that the update is nearing public release.

OS X 10.11.1 is a minor update for the OS X El Capitan operating system known to include bug fixes and new Emojis, including a middle finger, a taco, a unicorn, and others.

Public beta program participants and developers will find this update waiting for them under the Updates tab in the Mac App Store application. Since a restart is required, you are going to want to save any work that you have open before you begin the installation process.
