  • Google iOS App Updated With Animated GIF Support, Better Address Searching, & More

The Google Search application for iOS has been updated this week with new features for those that browse the Web frequently and want to make quick work of what they're wanting to search for.

Among the changes Google added, users can now interact with animated GIFs right from the search results that pop up when the user searches Google for information they need from the Internet. Animated GIFs won't play automatically, but you'll be able to 'tap to play' any animated GIF that appears in the search results now.

Moreover, Google is improving the way that you navigate with the Google mobile application; users can now search for whole addresses and Google Maps will step in and handle the rest right from the Google search application. This way, you can easily get to an address that you're trying to look up in fewer steps.

Last, but not least, the update also lets users add photos to reviews for their favorite places. Users that leave reviews for places via the mobile application can upload files directly from their Camera Rolls.

Existing users of Google for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Google's mobile application for free from this App Store link.
