  • Apple CEO Tim Cook Revels in Revenue of Apple's Enterprise Business

If you think thirteen million new iPhones sold in one weekend is impressive, here's a stat to challenge that already-impressive feat.

On Tuesday, Apple CEO Tim Cook says the company's revenue from sales in the enterprise market is massive.

"If you look at the last 12 months, (enterprise sales for Apple were) $25 billion," Cook told Box CEO Aaron Levie in a public forum interview at the annual enterprise developers conference hosted by Box. "This is not a hobby. This is a real business. (That $25 billion is about 14% of Apple's revenue over the last year.)"

According to USA Today, Cook's presence at the Box event is proof alone that Apple cares greatly for the enterprise space, as developers in this market are fast becoming iOS junkies.

"Cook's appearance at an annual enterprise developers conference hosted by Box underscores a major push by Apple to collaborate with leading enterprise partners such as IBM, Cisco Systems and Box," the report notes.

"We're in the early days of what we can do," Cook said of Apple's growing market diversity and potential. "My gosh, we haven't started yet."
