  • Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week - September 27th Edition

This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most worthy of recognition out of what we have been able to show you this week. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3-8.4 for Windows and Mac OS X. Check them out!

    1. Multiplexer $3.99

Multiplexer is a new class of multitasking that was introduced for iOS 8 devices this week. And we sure have to say, you'd be hard-pressed to not think this is one of the best multitasking jailbreak tweaks ever launched for a jailbroken device. The tweak comes with many mini-tweaks in one, including a Mission Control view where you can create custom application scenarios, a new windowed multitasking experience, a quick Notification Center application shortcut, integration with Reachability, backgrounding options, and even swipe control gestures. You can read more about the tweak and how it works via our full review at this link. Check it out, because this isn't something you'll want to miss!

    2. PhotosLive $2.99 ($1.99 sale price)

Another amazing tweak that we showed you this week was PhotosLive, which is a tweak that essentially ports the Live Photos feature of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to older iOS devices and older versions of iOS. In fact, it even works on iPads and iPod touches. With it, you can take live animated photos, just like you can on Apple's new handset, and you can view them, share them, or even set them as wallpapers. You can read more about how PhotosLive works and what you can do with it in our full review of the tweak at this link, so check it out!

    3. Seng $2.50

For those of you that miss Auxo 3, and wish that the developers behind it would support the latest version of iOS, you may be able to switch over to a new jailbreak tweak called seng, which looks a lot like Auxo 3 and has a lot of similar features. It's not a complete copy, but it's a pretty good "wannabe" with a lot of useful features that you'll get feelings of deja-vu from. And, best of all, it works with iOS 8.4. You can read our full review of seng at this link, so check it out!

    4. MessagesTint FREE

Another tweak released this week that we thought was pretty neat to try was MessagesTint, which colorizes the navigation bar in the Messages application based on the circumstances of the conversation that you're currently inside of. For example, iMessage turns the navigation bar blue, SMS turns the navigation bar green, and a message that failed to send turns the navigation bar red. You can read our full review of MessagesTint and learn more about what makes it work at this link.

    5. NoMessagesFlash FREE

Last on our list this week is NoMessagesFlash, which is a jailbreak tweak that prevents the camera flash when taking photographs with the Camera button in the Messages application. By default, Apple sets the flash to "automatic," and there's no way to turn it off. So when you want to be discreet, this tweak is a great way to prevent yourself from becoming a huge SOS beacon. You can read our full review of NoMessagesFlash at this link.
