  • OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan Seeded to Public Beta Participants for Testing

On Monday, alongside the public release of watchOS 2, Apple has also seeded OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan beta 1 to the public beta testers enrolled in the Public Beta Program for testing purposes.

As noted in the original beta seed of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to developer four days ago, the update is relatively small and adds new Emojis to the Emoji keyboard. Some of those Emojis include a middle finger, taco, unicorn, and cheese block among others.

Those participating in the Public Beta Program can download the update for free under the Updates tab in the Mac App Store application.

The expected public release for this Mac OS X update is expected some time later this year alongside iOS 9.1 for iOS devices, which adds support for the iPad Pro and its accessories: the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
