  • Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week - September 20th Edition

    This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most worthy of recognition out of what we have been able to show you this week. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3-8.4 for Windows and Mac OS X. Check them out!

    1. AutoResponder 3 (iOS 8+) $2.99

    First on our list of the best jailbreak tweaks released this week is AutoResponder 3, which is a tweak that lets you create automatic responses for specific people when they message you. This will be useful in scenarios for when you're in a meeting, in class, or driving, and don't want to come off as you're ignoring someone. You can create custom responses on a per-person basis so that not everyone gets the same message, and you can even create a white list so that certain people won't get an automatic response, and instead, can wait for your own individualized response. Check out our full review of AutoResponder 3 at this link!

    2. Phone++ $2.99

    Another tweak released this week that we thought was worth mentioning again is Phone++, which makes it so that you can more easily communicate with your favorite contacts using your favorite methods right from the Phone application, whether that is Skype, Text Messaging/iMessaging, a WhatsApp Message, or a regular Phone call. You can read our full review of Phone++ at this link to see more of what it's about!

    3. Clarify 99

    Carify is yet another gem released this week that gives Spotify users more control over the look and behavior of their Spotify application. New features are added by way of a new preferences pane in the Settings application, which can be configured to the user's liking. You can read more about what kinds of features you can take advantage of with Clarify via our full review at this link; check it out!

    4. VNOpenIN FREE

    Vine users will want to check out this tweak called VNOpenIN, which makes it super easy to save and download Vines from your Vine feed so that you can share them in a more desirable way instead of sharing simply a Vine link to your favorite social networks. Instead, the Vine will be downloaded to your Camera Roll so you can share the raw footage yourself. You can read our full review of VNOpenIN at this link.

    5. ForceTouchActivator FREE

    Last, but not least on our list this week, is ForceTouchActivator, which is a tweak that lets non-iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices simulate the experience of 3D Touch. The tweak tracks your finger size, radius, and touch density when you press firmly on the display to try and differentiate between regular taps. When it recognizes that you're force-touching, it'll activate whatever Activator action you have assigned to the gesture. Check out our full review of ForceTouchActivator at this link!

      With iOS 9 now public, I doubt any hackers are going to be working on a legacy firmware.

      Agreed, it's not good to burn the exploits that they do manage to find.

      Not like the old day when we'd have a JB the same day (or within several days) as a iOS release.

      True, but TaiG showcased a working JB for 8.4.1, and as we know iOS9 may not be unlocked for a very long time. So with that in mind, why not release the JB for 8.4.1? This is the only reason I haven't upgraded to 9.

      Apple replaced my damaged i6P and I lost my JB in the process

Even if it were true, I think achieving a JB for 64-bit devices is going to be an issue that's gonna take a while. I would be shocked if a JB for iOS9 was released this year. For now, I would settle for an 8.4.1 JB.
