  • Apple Music Festival Channel Shows Up On Apple TV Ahead of Kickoff

As we are now just two days away from the kickoff of the Apple Music Festival in London, a dedicated channel for the event has shown up on the Apple TV. Those who have an Apple TV and will not be in London for the festival, can watch the performances for free at home. So far, the channel has a Lineup section, Featured section, and an About section.

The Lineup section gives a breakdown of the schedule, the Featured section is for highlighting performances, and the About section is so viewers can learn about the event. When everything goes live, users will be able to watch a live stream of the event for free right at home. This year, the Apple Music Festivalís highlighting performances will be One Direction, Ellie Goulding, and The Weeknd.

Those interested in watching a specific performer can go into the Lineup section of the channel and see specific time slots of when an artist will be performing. The section will also have information on all the artists and links to their albums on iTunes. The Apple Music Festival is scheduled to kickoff on September 19th and go on until September 28th at The Roundhouse in London.

Users can stream the event live and for free on the Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and iTunes.
