  • Adobe Accidentally Leaks That Apple's New iPad Pro Has 4GB of RAM

At yesterday's special event, the iPad was one of the things that got the spotlight. Apple announced an all-new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which offers beastly performance when compared to other iPad models. Apple put a huge focus on the fact that the new iPad Pro is literally like a portable computer, and they made it more so with the new Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories, which are aimed towards those that use productivity and creativity software, like that from Microsoft or Adobe.

Adobe was one of the companies that took the stage yesterday to demonstrate the power of the new iPad Pro, and in an accidental leak in one of their press releases on Wednesday, Adobe appears to have leaked that the iPad Pro will come with a whopping 4GB of RAM. Notably, since being pointed out, Adobe has edited the press release to remove the information.

4GB of RAM will give this iPad Pro a lot of performance enhancements when dealing with multiple large suite applications, especially with that brand-new A9X processor, such as multitasking with Microsoft Office, or using Adobe's new creativity software that will be launched with the iPad Pro's features in mind. Side-By-Side applications will use a lot more RAM than just using iOS' typical application-switching, so this is likely why Apple made the jump.

The iPad Pro is intended more for students and professionals rather than casual users. These devices are made to be powerful mobile devices, but they come with large price tags ranging from $799 to well over $1000.

I'll buy if it runs OSX by hook or by crook.

Does it really have to be a secret? it would eventually be found out.

A lot of people assumed it was still 2GB of RAM since they didn't say anything about it. 4GB of ram though doesn't seem bad right?

I am not upgrading past my iPad 2. There is nothing new except faster and maybe lighter. That is not enough for me to upgrade when i will have a 6S or 6S+ in the other hand. I also want an iPad that runs OS X. Apple won't go their as they would never sell another MacBook Air if they did. Business as usual.
