  • No More Gold and 128GB Options For iPhone 6/6 Plus Devices

Apple today announced their new iPhone 6s/6s Plus devices with an additional rose gold color option however, it seems to have come with a price. The Cupertino-based company updated their official website and the gold color option for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has been discontinued. When looking on the website, the largest 128GB option has also been discontinued. So the new rose gold option seems to have cost us two things on the older iPhone model.

This means that for those who want one of the two things that are no longer offered, you have the option of either getting the new iPhone 6s or purchasing one from someone whos selling theirs. The only options left now for the original iPhone 6/6 Plus is the 16GB and 64GB models in Silver and Space Grey. During the event, Phil Schiller, Apples marketing chief noted that only the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will have the on-contract price cut with the iPhone 6 at $99 and iPhone 6 Plus at $199. When he said this, the screen behind him only showed the two colors being offered now.

The new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus device now has four color options to choose from, but it isnt clear as to why Apple has decided to discontinue the gold color option and the largest 128GB models. Will you be purchasing the new iPhone? Why or why not? Share with us in the section below.

iPhone Upgrade Program still shows 128GB pricing for both the 6s and 6s Plus. Not only that, but the gold iPhone models are all over the iPhone section of the Apple website. Seems like this article is reaching a bit.

He is talking about the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, not the new 6s.

Those options have been discontinued for the 6 and 6 Plus, not 6S and 6S Plus.
