  • Apple: iOS 9 Coming to the Public On September 16th

On Wednesday, Apple showed off some spectacular new features on the new iPhone 6s/iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro, which take advantage of a new operating system dubbed iOS 9 that will be available to the public September 16th.

iOS 9 will take full advantage of Apple's new 3D Touch (another name for Force Touch) on the new iPhones, and will make using software more of a breeze on the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, especially when multitasking or using the new Apple Pencil/Smart Keyboard accessories.

iOS 9 includes a slew of new features, but its major job is bring stability and performance improvements to the operating system after years of adding new features and not having the time to fine-tune them. Users can expect at least another hour of battery life on their existing devices after upgrading to iOS 9, as Apple pointed out at the Keynote in the Summer.

You can read more about what's new in the upcoming iOS 9 release at this link. The operating system will be available for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads that were able to run iOS 8, and will also run on all of Apple's newly-announced devices, including the new iPad Mini 4.

Yes, they didn't touch much on it. Essentially it's a mini iPad Air 2.

I work for Att, don't hate. And there are no such things as free upgrades ne more. You can do a 2 year contract or you can do the installment option, both of which have a fee with it as well. It sucks but it's the way most carriers are nowadays.

A T-Mobile rep said I qualify to get the 6s+ with no money down but I would have to pay $35 extra a month on top of my $70 a month plan.

I just talked to att and they said my employer discount waives all early upgrade fees and activation fees and all I'd have to pay for is the phone plus tax.

Yes if you have a business account there are those things as well. I was talking in a consumer account. Each business account is handled differently as well. Some only waive shipping other have just the upgrade fee etc, if your not listed as authorized on the account though they won't do anything for you.

I assumed I would be a consumer account. So my employer discount puts me in a business account? Weird

Not necessarily. If your company pays for your phone and you don't get the bill your on a business account. If you get the bill and pay it, and its in your name you have a personal account. But you can get a business discount of your company has an agreement with Att. It's called a national account discount on your bill. If you wanna message me if be happy to help you know more so your not surprised or better explain. It's what I do all day long...

Once you start using outlook for iOS you notice there's an endless list of features that can be added to mail. First and foremost email attachments would be a good start. Better integration with 3rd party file sharing apps, reminders, better interface, calendar integration, better search. But attachments would be a great start.
