  • Apple's Online Store Goes Down Wednesday Morning Ahead of Special Media Event

As usual, Apple's online store has gone offline Wednesday morning ahead of the special media event that Apple has planned for today, making it so that purchases on Apple's Web site have been suspended until the Apple Store can come back online.

Apple's special event today is expected to bring the unveiling of Apple's next-generation smartphone lineup, including the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. There have been sketchy rumors of an iPhone 6c, although it's doubtful that there will be such a refresh.

Today's event is also expected to shed some light on the release dates of Apple's upcoming operating system releases, including iOS 9, watch OS 2, and OS X El Capitan. There is also a good chance we may see an upgraded Apple TV with a new focus on gaming capabilities.

If you'll be tuning in live, you can head over to this link to find out how to watch the event from your devices and what devices are supported. Otherwise, if you'll be busy at work today, just stay tuned here and we'll keep you updated throughout the day!
