  • Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS - September 10th Edition

It's that time of the week again; the time of the week where we go over some great new free-to-download releases from the App Store.

In this post, we're going to show you five great free apps and games for iOS from the App Store. We know how hard application discovery can be on the iOS platform, and that's why we're here to help. Below, you'll find five great apps and games that are available right now that you may or may not have heard of. We do this every week!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our August 27th edition.

    1. Google Street View

Google Street View was just released for iOS recently with the ability to see places from a street's perspective. You'll be able to search for locations and even check out users' own photographs of locations. It's a great way to get a closer look at landmarks and other fabulous attractions without actually being in their physical presence. Check it out!

You can download Google Street View for free from this App Store link.

    2. Duolingo

For those of you that are interested in learning more than one language, Duolingo is a useful tool that can help you to practice your multilingual abilities. You can adjust the application to your own specific skill set in a particular language; easier users can start from the very beginning, while more advanced users can take on more of a challenge. You'll match cards, complete sentences, and choose the right word for translation and collect scores along the way. Check it out!

You can download Duolingo for free from this App Store link.

    3. Seashine

Seashine is a fun maze game in which you have to navigate a dark tunnel abyss with a light-up jellyfish. As you navigate, you can collect light to stay illuminated, but you have to beware of creatures that want to eat you. You can move through the maze with your finger by swiping up or down or right or left. Check it out, and get as far as you can!

You can download Duolingo for free from this App Store link.

    4. Block It

Another game we're showing you this week is Block It, which is a game in which you have to continuously knock the puck in the other direction. Since you never actually have anything for the puck to bounce off of, you have to create your own line for the puck to bounce off of by tapping. If you time the tap right, you will knock the puck in the other direction, but if you time it wrong, you'll miss and have to start all over. When you lose, your score gets recorded. Check it out!

You can download Block It for free from this App Store link.

    5. Spiny Circle

Last on our list this week of games you should try is Spinny Circle, which is a game where a bouncing ball changes color and you have to try and match the side of the circle (we know, circles don't have sides, but it's the will of the game developer) with the ball as it bounces. If you let the colored ball land on the wrong color side, you'll lose. Check it out!

You can download Spiny Circle for free from this App Store link.
