  • iPhone 6s to Sport a 5-Megapixel Front-Facing FaceTime Camera?

As we get closer and closer to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus unveiling next week, rumors are continuing to focus in on what we might be able to expect.

Just last week, it was rumored that the iPhone 6s would get an upgraded rear camera sensor, dropping on the 8 megapixel sensor that the iPhone has had since the iPhone 4s for a new 12 megapixel sensor. Moreover, it was rumored to receive 4K video recording quality for the first time, upgrading the camera video output from the existing 1080p.

But now, rumors are surfacing about the front-facing camera, which Apple calls the FaceTime camera. Well-known KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a semi-decent track record of getting things right in the past, suggests that the front-facing FaceTime camera could be upgraded to a 5 megapixel sensor, which would be a huge upgrade from the existing 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera.

Kuo also reportedly reassures investors that the next-generation iPhones will include Force Touch, a new Rose Gold casing color, and an improved Touch ID sensor along with the rumored 16, 64, and 128 gigabyte flavors.

That would be too much of a hardware upgrade all at once..they wouldn't have much to give next model...all about money...

I don't get it why Apple is so stubborn, the manufacturing cost between the 16GB and the 32GB model is negligible... 16GB is pathetic! The base model should be 32GB now... but knowing Apple, they have planned hardware updates for the next 10 years and will milk the consumers each year.
There were so many who chose not to upgrade to the 6/6+ last year from the 5S because the performance gap was not that great... which is evident because Apple chose to compare the 6/6+ models with the 1st gen iPhones in WWDC 2014... pathetic!

I just hope there's a way to turn off force touch. I don't see why they would even add that to the phone. Is the whole screen going to push down for the force touch? It just seems like a useless gimmick. If you add 4K video then get rid of the 16GB model! This should have been done a while back.
