  • Apple's iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro to be Introduced at September 9th Event?

With Apple’s September 9th event less than one week away, rumors are circulating the web everyday claiming different devices that will be unveiled at the event. So far, a revamped Apple TV, the next generation iPhone, and new Apple Watch Sport bands have been said to be announced next week. Now, 9to5Mac reports that the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the updated iPad mini 4 will be unveiled next week as well.

We reported just a few days ago that a J.P. Morgan investor memo stated that Apple’s iPad Pro parts would begin shipping in November. So even if the device gets introduced this month, it most likely won’t ship till the end of the year. We’re not sure how accurate this report is, but introducing new iPads in September is not usual for Apple. For those who follow annually, the Cupertino-based company typically holds another event in October to announce the iPad lineup.

The company has also been noted to introduce the iPad mini 4 next week. It has been rumored that the updated mini will be in line with the iPad Air 2. No new Air has been noted to be announced this year and will likely be unveiled in 2016. We suggest taking all these rumors with a grain of salt, considering 9to5Mac’s article warned that it is still possible the company will delay the unveiling to next month.

Be on the lookout as there will be even more rumors going around in the next week or so leading up to the event. Everyone is getting antsy and nothing has really been leaked, so lots of assumptions will be floating around.
