  • More Performers Added to Next Week's Apple Music Festival

Last month, Apple issued an impressive update about the company's forthcoming Apple Music Festival, which packs ten nights of live music shows.

This year, as Apple previously confirmed, the concert series will include performances from such recording industry heavyweights as Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Florence + The Machine, and Disclosure.

But the headliners will keep coming, as we learned Thursday.

Confirmed this week is news that The Weeknd, along with The Chemical Brothers, Take That, Leon Bridges, and even James Bay are heading to the concert series, which spans September 19th through September 28th in London.

Still don't have a ticket? No worries. Apple is once again presenting the concert series to iOS and Mac users, as in past years.

“We wanted to do something really special for music fans this year,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, in last month's announcement. “The Apple Music Festival is a greatest hits set of ten unbelievable nights featuring some of the best performers on the planet appearing live and interacting directly with their fans on Connect and Beats 1.”
