  • Imgur iOS App Gets Improvements to Notifications, Improvements to Interface, & More

The popular Imgur image viewing and image sharing application for iOS has received an update on Wednesday that offers multiple improvements to the user experience. Version 2.4.0 of the application has gone live in the App Store and is available to users right now.

What's new in the update are improvements to notifications that help you find out when your own posts are going viral. When you have a popular post, you'll get notified of new comments and can be a part of them. You'll also learn when you earn trophies.

Moreover, Imgur has made improvements to the user interface of the application by making Grid View look much nicer and removing the "squareness" that the application has always had. Profiles have also been updated to look nicer, complimenting the changes to Grid view.

And finally, Imgur gets a search feature that now makes it easier to find what you're looking for. You'll be able to find users, posts, and even the perfect reaction GIF to send to someone on another post.

Existing users of Imgur for iOS will find the update waiting for them under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, the latest version of Imgur for iOS can be downloaded free of cost from the App Store at this link.
