  • Apple Camp Summer Program to Be Available Year-Round Starting Next Month

Beginning next month, Apple’s ‘Apple Camp’ that only takes place in the summers for students will turn into a year-round program. The news comes from a message from VP of Retail and Online Stores, Angela Ahrendts, who told Apple employees just recently. Ahrendts told employees as well that teacher field trips and programs will also become year-round as opposed to just the summers.

According to the message Ahrendts gave employees,

We’re also, for September, expanding our summer camps and our field trips for students, for teachers, to make those a year-round program. I don’t have to tell you the impact they make on so many lives and the energy they bring to the store, so why not continue that program throughout the year?
The Cupertino-based company’s website shows Apple Camp as coming back next summer in 2016, so it is likely that Apple will be updating the website sometime soon. When they first put up the information, the company probably didn’t have plans of making the program year-round yet.

We also reported a few days ago that it’s been confirmed Apple will be cancelling its $99 One to One program starting September 28th. The reason behind this is so that Retail employees can focus more on free workshops. It seems like Apple is making an even greater initiative in giving back by offering more workshops for free.
