  • Apple Pay Support Comes to University of Oklahoma Campus Terminals

The incorporation of Apple Pay has been added to many different types of businesses, including sports arenas, retail stores, and fast food chains. The most recent place to incorporate Apple Pay is the University of Oklahoma. This is the first education institute in the U.S. to do so and the mobile payment system will be offered at terminals campus-wide.

According to the blog post, approximately 400 locations on campus will be getting Apple Pay including the Bookstore, restaurants, and the One University Store. Apple is a big partner of One University as it is an Apple Authorized Campus Store that also promotes iTunes U and iBooks.

Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned during the company’s third-quarter results call that approximately 700 universities and colleges would begin accepting Apple Pay. This means that students should definitely be on the lookout for the payment system when on campus because their school could be next in receiving Apple Pay support.
