  • Apple to Break Ground in New Territory for iPhone 6s Event?

With Apple now widely expected to unveil iPhone 6s at a media event September 9th, rumors are beginning to swirl with regard to the location of the announcement.

Despite beliefs to the contrary, San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts likely won't play host to the new iPhone unveiling.

Local media reports indicate that Apple may be the unnamed booker of the sprawling Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, which BI calls "a massive, 7,000-capacity space in the heart of San Francisco's Civic Center neighborhood."

The dates booked span September 4th through the 13th. Not surprisingly, however, Apple won't confirm plans for a September 9th iPhone 6s unveiling, let alone the location of the unveiling.

"Of course, that's no guarantee that it's Apple reserving the space," the report notes. "But it fits in perfectly with the timeline and previous reports of a September 9th iPhone event, and it also fits with the company's penchant for secrecy."

I know this may be a stupid question, but how does one get an invite to the event? I am aware that developers get invited but surely it can't be as easy as just paying for a developer account and become a "developer"....
