  • 'iPad6,8' Shows Up in Analytic Logs Hinting Even More at iPad Pro Release

When it comes to Apple’s next iPad release, there’s been nothing but speculation and rumors regarding which model will launch first. Nothing has been confirmed or announced by the company yet, but there’s been a tremendous amount of talk going around in regards to the iPad mini 4, iPad Air 3, and the largest 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Now, new information has been released by analytics company AppSee in which they found an ‘iPad 6,8’ in their logs. Apparently iOS 9.1 with a resolution of 2732x2048 was installed for ‘iPad 6,8.’

Earlier this week, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple’s larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro would be going into production either in September or October this year. So the fact that an ‘iPad 6,8’ was found in the log, seems to almost confirm that Apple’s next iPad release will be the iPad Pro. But if Kuo noted that the device would begin production in a month or two, then it means that Apple won’t be unveiling the tablet next month with the iPhone like many had assumed. What may end up happening is what Apple always does- hold a separate event in October to unveil the next iPad.

Are you disappointed that no iPad will be announced at the event next month? Do you guys think the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be popular? Share your thoughts with us in the section below.

With phones getting bigger and bigger the iPad Mini will soon be redundant. If I want to own one... I'd rather grab an iPad Air or an iPad Pro. Though I wouldn't trust apple with their first lot of iPad pro's.
